From January 1, 2025, in application of the law of September 13, 2023 (M.B. External siteExternal site04/12/2024) and its R. D. of November 11, 2024, death certificates will only become public after a period of 75 years (instead of 50 years), at least for certificates drawn up before March 31, 2019. The conditions for consulting non-public acts have also been tightened.
